Bookplate Request
Mary still hasn’t adjusted to people wanting her autograph and wishes she had spent more time learning penmanship. The good sisters of St. Charles told her it’d pay off, and they were right again! Knowing that it’s sometimes difficult to have a favorite book signed for yourself or for others, Mary will try to make it as easy as possible for you to have the next best thing – a signed bookplate. If you’d like a personal note, or one addressed to a friend or loved one or simply her John Hancock, just let her know. She’ll send it to you as soon as she can with all the shipping and handling stuff on her. She’s just thrilled you read her and wants to say thanks! The DetailsTo receive one or more bookplates all you need to do is fill out the form below or e-mail Mary at mary@marybuckham.com. Include your full name and address so she’ll know where to send it. Also, if you want a personalized message to yourself or someone else, just let her know. Thanks for asking. For Libraries, Book Clubs, and SchoolsMary tries to visit in person as many libraries, bookstores, school libraries, and book clubs as she can, after all her first job was in a library and her dream job would be in a bookstore – so much temptation, so little time - but there are so many places and only one of her. If you’d like signed bookplates for your store, club or library, please let her know how many you’ll need and if there’s any special wording you’d like her to say. Don’t forget to include your name, bookstore name/library name, and address and how many bookplates you want. Also, if you’d like to contact her on the chance that she can visit you in person, she’d love to hear from you at mary@marybuckham.com.
